Resumen de la tarjeta
CoinJar Card se conecta directamente a la cuenta de activos de CoinJar designada por el usuario, sin necesidad de transferir previamente los fondos a un saldo de tarjeta independiente. Cuando el usuario paga con la tarjeta, CoinJar vende una cantidad suficiente de criptoactivos según la cotización vigente y completa la transacción en dólares australianos a través de la red Mastercard. Una vez activada, la tarjeta digital puede añadirse a Apple Pay o Google Pay para efectuar pagos en línea y pagos sin contacto en comercios físicos. La tarjeta física tiene número de tarjeta, chip y PIN propios; permite pagar insertándola o acercándola y retirar efectivo en ATM compatibles con Mastercard prepago. Actualmente, la tarjeta es un producto australiano emitido por EML Payment Solutions Limited. Los solicitantes deben completar la verificación de identidad de CoinJar y ser ciudadanos australianos o titulares de un visado australiano válido. La tarjeta digital y la tarjeta física comparten la cuenta de gastos seleccionada, pero tienen números de tarjeta y códigos de seguridad distintos. Used em for years,before they even had Mastercard only eftpos and atm ,they were great,used it more than anything else.
Then as others have said,they wanted to know where I sent crypto years ago,don’t remember and now got kicked off ,after years of use , they had a good thing,now a dumpster fire .they must be loosing so much business.

Your transfers were most likely held in relation to the Australian Travel Rule legislation, which came into effect on 1 July 2026 and applies to all Australian residents across every crypto exchange. This legislation requires CoinJar to hold a transfer if we don't receive the matching travel rule data from the other crypto exchange or custodial wallet involved.
The good news is that we support the majority of transfers between CoinJar and self-hosted wallets. To make this smoother, you can save your deposit and withdrawal addresses in your address book — that way you won't need to complete the travel rule form every time. Once an address is saved with completed travel rule data, transfers between CoinJar and self-hosted wallets are, in most cases, instant.

First time experience with Crypto and… Just Great Experience
First time experience with Crypto and CoinJar has proved to be an excellent application to ease into the purchase and payment / transfer of crypto.
Easy to use and very logically laid out app.
Earlier this week I had a hiccup with one of my purchases and queried the error message with the built in support.
Joy of Joy ... they don't put you into a repetitive AI loop as so many service providers do.
After a brief interaction with the usual FAQ's I could then connect with a message to a human (the lovely and efficient Cindy) and had my query resolved in one go.

They are ask a million questions about what you intend to do, where your crypto is going...now they asking for explanations from transactions that occurred 2 years ago. I purchase cheaper medications from overseas suppliers, which is none of their business. I since changed to Coinbase and had a seamless experience

Many years now with Coinjar and never a problem. This app has gone backwards in terms of usability and I can no longer recommend it. Very difficult to replace an expired card, and change password.6

Had the odd hick up before but never had such terrible customer service before.
It’s just a simple problem then fair does, remove the option from the phone line and redirect to the web page.
But to leave yourself wholly directly uncontactable over any issue big or small is a little ridiculous.
Opened support 9am 🕘 no answer yet (nearly 12) finds are cleared you took the money fast enough. Now can someone check it as fast as you took it as I’m unable to send to any wallet or exchange without being told I have to contact the uncontactable first.
This was kind of a priority can someone look into this sooner rather than later. 👋

Your funds are being held in relation to the UK Travel Rule legislation which came into effect on 1 September 2023 and it impacts all UK residents. The legislation requires CoinJar to withhold a transfer for UK residents if we do not receive the travel rule data from a different crypto exchange.
We need to match the travel rule data sent from an exchange to the information that you provide us in the travel rule form. In your case we did not receive travel rule data from the blockchain address that you interacted with.
We do support the majority of transfers between CoinJar and self-hosted wallets without having to receive 3rd party travel rule data.
