Correction Policy

This policy applies to corrections involving public facts, source attribution, commercial disclosures, user-feedback summaries, and rating rationales on this site. Submitting a request does not require editorial judgments to be rewritten according to the submitter's preferences, nor does it automatically require the removal of information that still has a lawful basis.

  • Evidence may be submitted
  • Human review
  • Material changes are traceable
  • Ratings cannot be purchased

UCard Radar accepts correction requests from users, card providers, issuers, researchers, and compliance professionals. The platform reviews requests based on the nature of the materials, publication date, scope of applicability, source reliability, consistency of evidence, and degree of impact. A submitter's identity or commercial relationship cannot be used to purchase a rating, specify an organic ranking, or demand the removal of information that still has a lawful basis.

What Content May Be Submitted for Correction

  • Card name, logo, and official website link
  • Fee information
  • Supported, restricted, and prohibited regions
  • KYC requirements
  • Payment compatibility
  • Issuance structure
  • Risk events
  • Basis for risk scores
  • Data sources
  • User-feedback summaries
  • Advertising or partnership disclosures

Who May Submit Corrections

General users

Users may submit usage feedback, fee discrepancies, regional restrictions, KYC results, payment compatibility information, and leads concerning risk events.

Card providers / Issuers

They may submit official fee schedules, supported regions, KYC requirements, product status, announcements, and entity information.

Researchers / Compliance professionals

They may submit regulatory materials, public records, media reports, risk events, and explanations of conflicting sources.

What a Correction Request Must Include

  • The target page, card name, and specific disputed field
  • The current content, proposed change, and reasons for the change
  • The material's publication date, effective date, applicable product, region, and account scope
  • Official links, announcements, fee schedules, terms, regulatory materials, or other verifiable sources
  • When submitting on behalf of an organization, the submitter's identity and authorization relationship with that organization
  • Screenshots, emails, or support tickets should retain the necessary context, with unrelated personal information redacted first
  • A contact email address for additional verification if necessary. Do not submit complete card numbers, security codes, passwords, verification codes, private keys, seed phrases, or unauthorized third-party personal information

Content Not Removed Merely Because of a Commercial Relationship or Disagreement with a Conclusion

  • Risk events that still have a lawful basis
  • Reviewed negative-feedback summaries that remain relevant
  • Historical fee or regional changes with public explanatory value
  • Rating-change records and their publicly stated reasons
  • Sponsored / Affiliate / Claimed labels that remain applicable
  • Platform risk disclosures and advertising disclosures

However, if relevant content is inaccurate, duplicative, outdated, infringing, reveals private information, exceeds the scope of authorization, or must legally be deleted or have its processing restricted, it will still be handled according to the evidentiary status, the Privacy Policy, and applicable law.

Correction Review Process

  1. Confirm the page, card, disputed field, and proposed change involved.
  2. Check the submitted official pages, public records, screenshots, or other verifiable materials.
  3. Create source records for the materials used and indicate their verification status and applicable scope.
  4. Personnel with the appropriate permissions evaluate source reliability, conflicting information, and the scope of impact.
  5. When the evidence supports a correction, update the relevant factual field or public explanation.
  6. If a correction may affect the risk score, conduct a separate reassessment under the current rating methodology; the submitter may not directly specify a score or grade.
  7. Maintain readable update records for material changes affecting public information.
  8. Maintain internal audit records for key actions such as submission, review, publication, or withdrawal.

How Correction Outcomes Are Handled

  • Information substantiated: update the relevant field and retain the source and update time.
  • Information partially substantiated: update the verifiable portion and retain an explanation of the dispute.
  • Information unsubstantiated: retain the original data and, where appropriate, record why the request was not accepted.
  • Affects the score: enter the risk-score reassessment process.
  • Affects public-facing content: update the public page or risk notice accordingly.

Review Requests and Channel Abuse

After a request is not accepted, the submitter may request another review with new evidence. Requests that are repetitive without new materials, clearly outside the scope of this policy, or harassing, fraudulent, impersonating, or abusive at scale may be consolidated, restricted, or terminated.

Card Provider Corrections and Rating Independence

Card providers may submit official materials and correction evidence, but a commercial relationship does not itself confer the right to purchase a rating, specify an organic ranking, delete risk notices, or remove negative feedback. Claimed only indicates that the relevant entity has claimed the profile page; Affiliate and Sponsored only indicate commercial relationships. None constitutes a recommendation or endorsement.

Update Records After Corrections

Material corrections involving fees, regions, KYC, issuance structures, risk scores, risk events, data sources, or public compliance copy should retain the update time, reason for the change, and publicly disclosable supporting basis. Internal audit records should be retained for key actions such as submission, review, publication, and withdrawal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a card provider request the removal of negative feedback?

It will not be removed merely because of a commercial relationship, payment, or dissatisfaction with a conclusion. Factual errors, outdated information, infringement, privacy risks, or legal obligations will be evaluated separately.

Can a single screenshot change a rating?

Usually not. A screenshot will enter the review process as a lead, and a score reassessment may be triggered only after verification across multiple sources or when a key field is affected.

How long does a correction take?

Processing time depends on the quality of the evidence, source verifiability, scope of impact, and review progress. Information involving major risks or broad impact may receive higher review priority based on its degree of impact, but no uniform processing time is promised.

Will an accepted correction be publicly explained?

For material corrections affecting public conclusions, the platform will update the date, source, or change explanation according to its recordkeeping capabilities. Whether specific evidence is disclosed also depends on privacy, authorization, and legal restrictions.
