Fold Debit Card is a Bitcoin rewards Visa prepaid card offered by Fold to users in the United States, issued by Sutton Bank. Users first deposit USD into the card account, and can also sell BTC held in Fold for USD to spend. The product does not provide a credit line, mainly covering everyday Visa spending, ATM withdrawals, ACH bill payments, and Bitcoin rewards scenarios, and offers both a free Fold membership and a paid Fold+ membership with different benefits.

Card overview
Fold Prepaid Debit Card uses a pre-funded USD balance and does not deduct funds directly from a conventional checking or savings account. Users can add funds through ACH, payroll Direct Deposit, an external bank transfer, or an instant debit card top-up. They can also sell BTC held in Fold for USD and add the proceeds to the card balance. Initial applications currently result in a physical card being mailed directly, and a standard virtual card is not issued at the same time. Temporary virtual cards are primarily provided to existing users awaiting replacement physical cards and are valid for two months. Free Fold membership mainly provides basic account and card functions, while Fold+ charges a monthly or annual fee in exchange for BTC spending rewards, Card Boost, ATM fee reductions, and international transaction fee reductions.

Was once amazing, but they steadily cut rewards and probability on their spin wheel. The last [documented] time someone won 1 BTC on the spin wheel was back in 2021. Debit card rewards aren't really worth the time/effort, but their new credit card rewards are OK at 1.5%. Would be nice to be able to earn rewards in BCH (the Bitcoin that actually works as A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System).

For the last year, about every month or so, I'll try again to ask these guys to add a dark mode feature to the app. Every month or so, they completely ignore me. Seems responding to the needs of their customers, including incredibly easy updates that could be coded by an AI bot it 10 minutes is too easy to keep clients happy. incredibly disappointed in what this company has become. Bitcoin companies, i thought, were supposed to be PoW. Quality output. Here we are, and they can not be bothered.

This app describes my checking account as "Sutton Bank" Unfortunately, Sutton Bank has no clue who I am and Sutton Bank doesn't pick up the phone. Also, I can't call anyone at Fold for clarity. terrible service. I also have a pending dispute that they haven't fixed for over a year.
