The Guarda Card is a euro-denominated Visa crypto prepaid card introduced by Guarda Wallet and available in Virtual and Plastic forms. While the product was open, it was available only to residents of the 27 EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Users had to apply through a dedicated entry point in the Guarda mobile wallet; other countries and regions did not have a valid application route by default or could not complete an application. Users could originally top up with designated crypto assets, which were converted into euros for online shopping, in-store merchants, and ATM withdrawals. New users currently cannot apply through the standard process.

Card overview

Guarda launched a prepaid Visa card in 2022, with applications primarily completed through the Guarda Wallet mobile app. After selecting Virtual or Plastic, users had to provide information such as a mobile number and residential address for identity verification and set a four-digit PIN for the card. The Virtual card could be generated immediately after completing the process, while the Plastic card was mailed to the address provided in the application. When funding the card, supported crypto assets were transferred from Guarda Wallet into the card system and converted into EUR. The card could then be used for online or in-person purchases through the Visa network, while Plastic also supported ATM cash withdrawals. Guarda Wallet provides non-custodial crypto asset management, while card-related electronic money and payment services are provided by licensed institutions. Recent card materials from 2026 continue to list Guarda Visa Card as a prepaid card service for eligible European residents.

Their customer support team is responsive, and quick. They solve your problems fully. NO AI BS when you need support it connects you directly to a human support team member. I really appreciated that, because it's one of the only places so far that doesn't do the AI bs support chat. I've used this many times for private transactions, and they have been great for anonymous, XMR, and other types of obfuscated cryptos. I have never once had a problem where I lost money. Never. the interface is simple enough that even a layman can understand exactly what they're doing and how. I really recommend guarda in certain circumstances. They're great.
