Card overview

Change launched a Visa payment card in 2019, extending its investment and crypto asset accounts into everyday spending. The historical version allowed users to convert digital assets into a EUR balance that could be used for card payments and offered virtual cards, physical cards, online spending, physical Visa merchants, and ATM functions. In 2024, the company also planned Crypto Card Cashback. The card business was subsequently withdrawn. On July 31, 2025, Change confirmed in a public response that the Change Card users missed was a product of the past and said it was only exploring the possibility of launching a similar product in the future. Since the beginning of 2026, Change's redesigned website, help centre, and current legal documents have no longer listed payment card services. The platform now focuses on investment, trading, and digital asset accounts.

Stealing your funds

Initially it was a good app, but later they started taking funds from our wallets masking it as a inactivity "service fee". No warning, nothing. I lost 150 Euro to these thieves. If you dont have fiat, they will sell your crypto automatically! Edit: leaving aside the fact that charging 'inactivity fee' of 50 euro is at least shady, sending some random email saying that you are updating your 100-page long T&C is not the same thing as clearly notifying your customers that you will take their funds from their account!

In fact, our platform has significantly evolved since then and is now more secure and trustworthy than ever before. The inactivity fee was introduced back in 2023, and all clients were informed about it multiple times via email. The fact that our platform has continued operating normally ever since also shows that this was never a hidden or sudden change. My honest advice to anyone…

My honest advice to anyone considering to create an account on ChangeInvest: RUN AWAY!!! This is the worst company related to finance/investing I ever hit! We bought crypto back in 2021 - SOL, DOT, ADA. It was not possible to withdraw any of these, so we kept them on ChangeInvest (even though there were promises that in the future it would be possible). That was a huge, huge mistake! In 2023 or so they introduced "Passive Account Maintenance Fee" and sold all our crypto we had there - charging 20 EUR MONTHLY!!! All our crypto is gone now, they stole everything!!! I hope they will go bankrupt to stop stealing from people!!! Never had such a bad experience elsewhere!

Dear Klára, We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but we must point out that all our clients were informed about these changes and fees multiple times in advance through email communication and other official channels. As you mentioned, the passive account maintenance fee was introduced in 2023, and notifications regarding this policy were sent repeatedly before any fees were charged. Even today, we continue informing users about these fees, which goes significantly beyond our legal obligations. Monitoring investments and account-related communication on an ongoing basis is an important part of using any investment platform. Regarding crypto withdrawals, support for additional withdrawal networks remains on our roadmap, but it has not been a major priority, as only a very small number of clients have requested this feature. We understand your frustration, but we made every effort to communicate these changes transparently and well in advance. All the 5 star reviews must be fake

All the 5 star reviews must be fake. They are snake businessmen, unethcical, stay away. They steal your money with absurd hidden fees and are using false advertisement. They send me ONE email about changing their T&C, even though they claimed they sent 6... An then completely emptied my account by selling my crypto that I was holding. Awful people, I really hope this business will go down soon and all the people in the management will get what they deserve.

First of all, we don't use any misleading advertising, and all fees on our platform have been fully visible on our website since day one.
