The Gnosis Pay Card is a self-custodial stablecoin Visa debit card connected to a Safe Smart Account. After depositing EURe, GBPe, or USDCe into a personally controlled Gnosis Pay Safe, users can shop online, make in-store purchases, and withdraw cash from ATMs using a virtual card, physical card, or mobile wallet. When a purchase occurs, the corresponding stablecoin is deducted from the Safe in real time, without requiring funds to be transferred in advance to a custodial platform account. The card is available to residents of Europe and certain Latin American countries and offers spending cashback paid in GNO.

Card overview

Gnosis Pay uses a payment structure combining a self-custody wallet with a traditional card network. Through their own signing wallet, users control a Safe deployed on Gnosis Chain, and the card uses only designated stablecoins held in the Safe as its funding source. EURe is primarily used in the euro area, GBPe in the United Kingdom, and USDCe in Brazil and certain other regions outside Europe. Merchants still receive ordinary fiat currency through the Visa network. Users can apply for a virtual card or physical card and use the app to view card details, freeze the card, adjust spending limits, and manage transactions. Online payments support Visa Secure 3DS, while the physical card supports chip, PIN, contactless payments, and ATM withdrawals. Gnosis Pay provides the product interface, card program management, and technical services, while the cards are issued by licensed entities associated with Monavate. The Safe module vulnerability that occurred in June 2026 has been fixed, Gnosis reimbursed affected users, and card services subsequently resumed.

After card top up balanced dropped to ZERO the next day without any succesful purchases

I hereby give GnosisPay just 1 star due to a very poor first experience and lack of support. After receiving an email on June 9 stating that the Gnosis Card services were restored after a period of disruption, I decided to use the card for the first time on June 12. I transferred $23 from my non-custodial wallet to the ZEAL app, and then the funds were successfully received and converted to my GnosisPay VISA balance (over €20 visible in the app). However, when attempting to make a payment, the transaction failed due to “insufficient funds”, despite the available balance. The next day, I tried using the card in a supermarket, but all payment attempts with it failed again. When I checked the app afterward, my VISA balance had dropped to zero without any transaction history or explanation. I contacted support via the ZEAL app and received - after waiting for about a week - a generic response referring to a previous card disruption. This was not relevant, as my issue occurred AFTER June 9, when users were explicitly told services were restored. After following up, my support request disappeared entirely from the app without resolution. I once again tried to have this issue solved by GnosisPay by sending an email to their customer support, again explaining my issue in utmost detail (support ticket number 56161). The result after waiting 3 more weeks: NOTHING. No response. No resolution. My 20 euros still gone. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend GnosisPay.

unds blocked for 2 weeks and support nowhere to be found

Frankly unacceptable. I'm waiting for a transaction to be unblocked following an order canceled on the very same day. The merchant clearly confirmed that nothing was charged on their end (normal, as you're only charged upon shipment). It's been over 15 days now that the transaction has been stuck in 'pending'. Yet, it's written in black and white that funds are released after 11 days max if the merchant doesn't validate the transaction... which is exactly the case here. But still nothing, my money is just floating in limbo. The worst part in all this? Customer support doesn't even bother replying to tickets. And on their Discord, even if the guy seems nice and well-meaning, he is completely useless and can't unblock a single thing. Customer service is total garbage and management is a complete disaster. Stay away, there are way better crypto payment options out there ticket: 56895

KYC and Zeal

hello guys, please helpe with some issues on Gnosispay, i have sent you 2 emails by now and opened a lot of chats, but no answers. i really need your help. i am logged off of Gnosis and I can't do the KYC step because of camera and I also have issues with a wallet in Zeal! Unable to access roughly €400 of my own funds

I want to be fair and factual, so I'll stick to what has actually happened. For over a week I have been unable to withdraw approximately €400 from my Gnosis Pay account. Both available routes are broken: "Skip Expired" consistently fails with an RPC rate-limit error on skipExpired(), and the /withdraw-legacy "Send to my new Safe" transaction reverts every time, leaving my legacy funds stranded. I raised a support case more than a week ago and have yet to receive any meaningful reply. Through chat, agents engage briefly and then abandon the conversation without a resolution. I appreciate that technical issues happen — what concerns me is the combination of blocked funds and unresponsive support. When a customer cannot reach their own money and cannot get help, trust erodes quickly. I would gladly revise this review upward the moment my funds are released and my case is properly handled. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend Gnosis Pay.

I would like to have my account deleted because I created it years ago and have forgotten all my login details, and now I need a new account. I contacted support via chat two weeks ago, but I haven't received a response yet. That's why I'm only giving it one star.

I really enjoy gnosis

I really enjoy gnosis, the app is simple and has everything needed, I currently have 4% cashback and really enjoy it, yes they have some issues but compared to other crypto banks I'd say it's the best one. Love it.
