Card overview
NBS integrates Brazil's PIX, a self-custody USDC wallet, US-dollar asset management and a Visa card in one app. Users can convert BRL to USDC through PIX and then use the digital dollars for card spending. The wallet infrastructure uses Privy technology, and NBS states that users control their own self-custody wallets. The current Founder Edition is promoted to users in Brazil. Its public page requests a name, email address and CPF, and provides both physical and virtual spending options. Legally, the NBS Spend Card uses a structure in which the issuer provides a credit line that the user repays; certain accounts may also require digital assets or fiat currency as collateral.
