Osmosis Pay Card was a Visa crypto payment card jointly offered by the Osmosis ecosystem and Cypher. It allowed users to connect wallets such as Keplr and Leap, convert assets from the Osmosis ecosystem and load them into a separate card balance for online, offline and mobile payments. The product previously offered virtual and physical cards and supported Apple Pay and Google Pay. After Cypher was acquired by Nium and its original platform was closed, Osmosis Pay stopped accepting applications, top-ups and purchases.

Card overview
Osmosis Pay connects the Osmosis chain wallet with Cypher's Visa card infrastructure. User assets remain under their own wallet control until transferred to the card balance; before spending, users must select supported assets and convert or load them into a USD card balance. Once loaded, funds depend on Cypher and the issuing system for authorization, refunds, and withdrawals, so the entire payment process is not fully self-custodial. The latest Cypher Card Terms list Third National as the actual Issuer of the Visa card, using a credit account structure where spending is supported by collateral assets. On July 8, 2026, after Cypher was acquired by Nium, the original platform closure process began, and new applications and card top-ups were simultaneously stopped. August 7 was the last day for spending, and all Osmosis Pay cards are now inactive.

The final spending date was 2026/08/07, and all active cards were formally cancelled at 00:00 UTC on 2026/08/08.
