The Bitcoin Company Prepaid Cards are one-time-loaded virtual prepaid card products sold by The Bitcoin Company. They include a Prepaid Mastercard for cross-border use and a Visa card that can be claimed and spent only in the United States. Card overview
This product is not a reloadable debit card connected to a crypto wallet, nor does it provide a continuous account balance. Users select a prepaid card value, complete payment, and then claim the card via "My Cards" in the app to view the balance and transaction history. The card cannot be reloaded, receive transfers, or withdraw cash; a new card must be purchased after the balance is exhausted. The Prepaid Mastercard can be used for some transactions outside the US and in non-USD currencies, but cross-border fees apply; the Visa card can only be claimed and used within the US. The card has no preset name or billing address and does not support 3D Secure, so recurring subscriptions, financial account top-ups, and some strictly verified online merchants are likely to decline transactions. The official website homepage currently states that Bitcoin and stablecoins can be used for purchase, but the public payment instructions specifically list only BTC on-chain, Lightning, and TBC Credit topped up with BTC.

Bought a card through thebitcoincompany.com, which gives a visa card from yourrewardcard.com. The card never worked in any online shop. After some days, card was blocked, and you needed to call support. Customer support is only reachable through a US phone number, no email ... of course they couldn't help and wanted to collect all your personal data. it's a scam.

I have purchased $16.89 USD virtual visa card I'm unable to set this as payment method in my Google play I don't know why. It says please check your CVV or Expiry date is correct even after putting correct details. Somehow I managed to add $10 in my Google play now i still cannot use my $6.89 ... please help

Solid buisness. They are a small company, but at least respond within 24 hours or less. They do not use generic templates to reply to issues, nor AI generated answers. You can tell they read your messages and understand ypur issues. Good support. The app is sleek and easy to use. The people whining here are because they don't know how lightning network or Bitcoin works and want "their" money back.

As mentioned in other reviews here - they are selling fraudulent prepaid cards which are being locked by the issuer, for no good reason, and the issuer refuse to refund the clients
