Card overview
Upgrade Bitcoin Rewards Card launched on July 21, 2021, as the Bitcoin rewards version of Upgrade Card. Once approved, cardholders could immediately use a virtual card and subsequently received a physical Visa Signature card for purchases at online and in-person Visa merchants. Each unpaid purchase was converted into an instalment balance with a fixed interest rate and fixed term. Historical credit limits generally ranged from USD 500 to USD 25,000. Users earned 1.5% BTC rewards when repaying purchase balances. Rewards were held in custody in an NYDIG wallet and could be sold only after being held for at least 90 days. Sales incurred a 1.5% transaction fee, and the proceeds could only be applied as statement credits, not withdrawn to a personal Bitcoin wallet. The card was discontinued in 2023. Upgrade's current product range has shifted to cards offering cashback and lifestyle spending rewards.

First of all...this is a LOAN not a credit card! At least that is my understanding...I was surprised at how simple this was to apply online AND get approval within days! Then the direct deposit and payments to credit cards was also made within days! I have not made a payment yet as it is not due until next month so I can't rate that part. I am grateful that Upgrade helped me immediately and I can breathe a bit easier...I do recommend them! Hopefully I won't be disappointed long-term...
