Brahma Card

Updated: Sep 20, 2026

The actual consumer product name of Brahma Card was Swype Card, a DeFi-secured credit card supported by Brahma Cards infrastructure. Users could link lending positions and stablecoin yield positions on Base or HyperEVM to a virtual Visa card. When a purchase occurred, the system borrowed USDC or used stablecoin funds for settlement without requiring the collateral assets to be sold in advance. After Brahma was acquired by Polymarket, Swype.fun ceased operations in April 2026.

Card overview

Swype Card previously offered Borrow Mode and Spend Mode. Borrow Mode supported positions in Aave and Euler on Base and HypurrFi on HyperEVM. Users set the collateral assets and maximum borrowing amount, and the system borrowed USDC immediately for settlement when a purchase occurred. Spend Mode allowed users to connect stablecoin yield positions in HypurrFi, Felix, Hyperlend, or Hyperbeat and set a spendable limit. The card was a virtual Visa that could be linked to Apple Pay and Google Pay. Users could set a daily spending limit, freeze the card, and change the PIN. Brahma announced on March 18, 2026 that it had been acquired by Polymarket. Its products subsequently ceased operations, and the former card entry point now directs users to HypurrFi.
