Card overview
Cash App Card is not a crypto card that spends directly from a Bitcoin balance; Visa card transactions are primarily funded from the user's Cash App USD balance. Users can add funds through a bank account, a US-issued debit card, payroll Direct Deposit, P2P payments received, and cash deposits. Cash App also allows eligible adults to buy, sell, receive, and send BTC. The current account structure includes a Prepaid Account and a Debit Flex Account, so the underlying card issuance agreement may be provided by either Sutton Bank or The Bancorp Bank, depending on the user. The standard card is free, virtual card details are available immediately, and the physical card is usually mailed afterward. The card design can be personalized, with paid premium material or design options also available.
