SafePal was founded in 2018 by Veronica Wong and two co-founders, providing non-custodial software wallets, hardware wallets, and multi-chain digital asset services, and is responsible for the wallet interface and product integration for the SafePal Mastercard. Accounts and regulated financial services are provided by Fiat24, a subsidiary of SR Saphirstein AG in Switzerland, registered in Zurich with registration number CHE-256.014.995, holding a fintech license under Article 1b of the Swiss Banking Act and regulated by FINMA.

OriginalSafePal 在 App 内提供 Fiat Gateway 入口，受监管的账户开户、KYC、Swiss IBAN、法币余额及 Mastercard 服务由 Fiat24 负责。Fiat24 采用 Arbitrum 链上的账户凭证 NFT，并以 EUR24、USD24、CHF24、CNH24 对应账户法币余额。卡片目前为虚拟 Mastercard Debit，不发行实体卡，也不设置传统 PIN。用户可直接存入 Arbitrum USDC，也可先通过 SafePal Swap 将其他数字资产兑换为 USDC 后充值，再使用多币种余额消费。当前普通已发行卡每日消费限额为 10,000 美元、每月 20,000 美元。截至 2026 年 7 月 28 日，SafePal 仍维护产品及现有卡服务，但 Fiat24 当前处于 maintenance mode，并明确暂停接受新申请。
