CEX.IO Card was a virtual Mastercard crypto debit card offered by CEX.IO to users in the European Economic Area and linked to their CEX.IO custodial wallet balance. Cardholders could previously select up to four crypto assets and their EUR balance as funding sources. At payment, the selected digital assets were automatically converted into euros to complete the transaction, with mobile wallets supporting online and offline contactless payments. Because the payment institution licence of the original card programme partner, Quicko, was revoked, the card has been unable to process payments since 3 February 2026.

Card overview
CEX.IO Card was previously part of the CEX.IO trading platform's payment ecosystem and did not require funds to be transferred to a separate card account. Users could select up to four crypto assets from their CEX.IO Wallet and set the order in which they would be spent, while their EUR balance also served as a payment source. When a purchase was made, the system automatically sold the required assets in the specified order and completed the Mastercard transaction in EUR. The card was issued only as a virtual card, so it was primarily used for online shopping, subscriptions, and payments at physical merchants after being linked to a mobile wallet. It did not offer a conventional physical card or ATM withdrawals. The original program primarily served EEA residents. After the Polish regulator revoked Quicko's payment institution license in January 2026, CEX.IO shut down existing card payments and stopped issuing new cards on February 3. Other CEX.IO services, including trading and Wallet, continue to operate.

Notice: Payment services for this card were discontinued on February 3, 2026, affecting all existing CEX.IO Cards and new card applications. This action was taken because the payment institution license held by the program's regulatory partner, Quicko sp. z o.o., was revoked by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Existing cards can no longer be used for online, offline, or subscription payments, and the issuance of new cards has been suspended; however, refunds, reversals, and transaction disputes continue to be processed in accordance with card network procedures.

I need help with the verification process, verification fail and I don't know why. nothing is wrong with my region, pic is clear of my id card, at first it says the lighting is too bright so I did it over again and that message didn't popped up and I'm still getting verification fail.

They take your money and hold it for well over a week to gain interest on it but claim it's for your own safety and to protect your assets...... What a joke they basically steal your money and then pay you back 8 or 9 days later. There is no instant trading unless you trade for other coins within the app you can't send any Bitcoin to any outside wallet or withdraw your money it's basically stuck on the app till they get their tiny bit of interest of you. Don't use this app they are thiefs.

feels to be a scam. I am verified and provided all docs of legal income over years. withdraw does not work. I ask them each few months when it will work. last time they removed support button from the interface all together. I lost my funds.

A horrible experience. They charged me $6. Both ways deposit and to send. And now they I holding my money that I sent after I got charged all that money I just deposited 40 bucks total minus 12 they are charging more than 25 percent on fees

So at first I was surprised at the platform and it's interface, makes everything very easy to understand. but after signing up and making a deposit of almost $1000 from my card, I have not been able to withdraw anything. and the customer support is really slow at responding, and the instructions they provide to withdraw does not match the options the app displays! you can't send crypto to anyone.it doesn't allow you!
