The Crypterium Card was a Visa crypto prepaid card product that was incorporated into the Choise.com system after Crypterium and subsequently used Choise.com as its account and wallet portal. It was a euro-denominated Visa crypto prepaid card available as a virtual card or plastic physical card. Users could convert crypto assets held in their Choise/Crypterium wallets and top up a separate card balance for online shopping, payments at in-store Visa merchants, and ATM withdrawals. The current operating entity, UAB Choise Services, has entered liquidation. Public card pages no longer accept orders, and the product no longer provides standard applications or continuing operational services.

Crypterium AS, registered in Estonia, acts as the Card Programme Manager in the card project. The actual card issuing and electronic money institution is UAB Walletto, company code 304686884, holding electronic money institution license No. 33 issued by the Bank of Lithuania, authorized to issue e-money and payment instruments. Visa provides the card network, and neither Choise.com nor Crypterium is a bank.

Card overview
Crypterium Card used a prepaid balance model and did not provide a credit limit. Users originally had to hold or exchange crypto assets in a custodial wallet and then top up the card account with a EUR amount. Spending was deducted from the card's EUR balance rather than triggering a direct sale of crypto assets at the time of the merchant transaction. The Plastic card could be used for online payments, at physical merchants, and at ATMs, while the Virtual card was primarily intended for online purchases and Apple Pay. Card issuance and electronic money services were provided by the Lithuanian electronic money institution UAB Walletto, with Crypterium AS acting as the card programme manager. UAB Choise Services entered liquidation in April 2025, and the company subsequently confirmed that product operations had ceased. Existing promotional pages, historical rates, and help content therefore do not indicate that the card remains available or operational.

Shortly after creating an account, I received a call from one of the company's representatives. They spent time explaining how their automated trading software allegedly analyzed the markets and managed trades while keeping risks under control. Their explanation was convincing, and the platform itself appeared well-designed, featuring detailed performance charts and a modern client portal. Based on what I saw, I felt comfortable making my first deposit.
Over the following weeks, the figures displayed in my account continued to rise. Seeing what appeared to be consistent gains gave me confidence that my investment was performing well. As a result, I committed additional funds, including money I had originally reserved for purchasing upgraded landscaping equipment and growing my business.
The situation took an unexpected turn when I requested a withdrawal. Instead of receiving my funds, I was informed that my account had been placed under a temporary review. I was then instructed to pay several extra charges, including identity verification and regulatory compliance fees, before my withdrawal could supposedly be approved. Trusting their explanation, I paid the requested amounts. Unfortunately, the withdrawal was never completed, and communication with the company gradually became more difficult until they eventually stopped responding altogether.
Realizing something wasn't right, I decided to investigate the company more carefully. During my research, I found that the United Kingdom's financial regulator had published a warning stating that Crypterium was not authorized to provide regulated financial services. Discovering that information confirmed the doubts I had already begun to develop.
Determined to pursue every possible option, I sought professional guidance and eventually contacted Tamsel Ltd. Their specialists helped me gather my transaction records, organize supporting documentation, and prepare reports for the appropriate recovery process. Through their continued assistance and persistence, I was able to recover a significant portion of my investment, while efforts to recover the remaining balance are still ongoing through the appropriate regulatory channels.
Although recovering much of my money was encouraging, the experience had a lasting impact. My business expansion plans had to be postponed, and the financial uncertainty created months of unnecessary stress and frustration.
I decided to share my experience in the hope that it encourages others to exercise caution before investing with online platforms that advertise guaranteed or consistently high returns with minimal risk. Always confirm that an investment provider is properly regulated, investigate its background thoroughly, and avoid making financial decisions based solely on persuasive sales presentations. Performing careful research beforehand can help safeguard both your savings and your confidence.

I've opened several tickets via their "support" section, which is useless because their response pattern is always "our expert team works diligently to resolve the issue..." or similar, to stall the recovery process.
At first, my transaction would not be processed and seen in the History of the transactions section but the founds were still in the wallet. When I tried to withdraw everything, the funds were removed from the wallet, which is now empty, but the other wallet never received the funds.
And NO, the transaction network was correct.
Now I can't even log in to my account, not via browser, or the app. I have screenshots but what do I do with them?
So, this is how I got scammed.
Please avoid Crypterium/Choice platform. Stay away from these scammers, save yourself from trouble.

They do offer token conversion via their wallet app however they lock your whole CHO amount up for months and the bonus for years, after which 90%+ are unable to withdraw regeardless, simply see Trustpilot reviews. Clearly this upgrade is intended to debase clients funds.
