Card overview

Kontigo is a global digital-dollar account centred on USDC. Its wallet uses an MPC self-custody architecture and provides local-currency top-ups, crypto asset transfers, money transfers, and payment functions. Kontigo Card connects users' USDC balances to traditional card payment networks, allowing international merchant payments through Visa. The original Mastercard card programme was discontinued after its partnership with Rain ended in early 2026. Kontigo subsequently launched a new Visa virtual prepaid card in July 2026. The new card supports Google Pay and is publicly promoted as compatible with Apple Pay. The currently published spending limits for the new card are USD 500 per day, USD 5,000 per month, and a maximum of 12 transactions per day. Some users have recently experienced card freezes, temporary inability to unfreeze their cards, or pending activation, so actual availability is not fully stable.

Terrible app, son mas las veces que no funciona que las que si, ademas la atencion al cliente es la peor con la que he tratado en mi vida. Incluso me ofrecieron una vez solo luciones con un problema y espere mes y medio, y luego me dijeron que no se podia hacer nada luego de que durante ese mes entero me dijeron que si, que solo debía esperar una supuesta actualización... les recomiendo optar por cualquier otra.

La app tiene un buen diseño pero no simplifica la transacción para el usuario, por ejemplo al querer realizar un retiro de 5 te cobra 5.30. en lugar de tener que adivinar el fee que es flexible y cambia todo el tiempo por que no me los cobran en mis 5 y recibo 4.7 seria mas sencillo para el usuario que tener que adivinar cuanto me van a dejar retirar. Es molestó creer que uno tiene la transacción correcta y que le salga un mensaje de saldo insuficiente

Antes dependía mucho de esta aplicación para estabilizar mis ingresos. Tenían buena atención al cliente y resolvían casos rapido. Eso cambió en estos ultimos meses en 2026 donde han tenido unas caidas de servicio abismales, sin muestra de planes de respaldo, lo que genera una situaciones de deseperación horrible con los fondos retenidos. El servicio al cliente básicamente se convirtió en un bot que te deja en visto en whatsapp y ya, sin respuesta alguna. Esta app se convirtió en una basura.

Te quitan la tarjeta sin razón y no dicen por qué, su soporte técnico es un bot que no sirve para nada y sus respuestas son muy inútiles, altas tarifas de fee, aplicación mediocre, hay otras apps que hacen lo mismo y mejor.
