Phantom Cash debit card is a US dollar-denominated virtual Visa prepaid debit card linked to Phantom Cash and currently available to eligible users in the United States. Users can convert assets on the Solana network into the CASH US dollar stablecoin and spend their Cash account balance directly on online shopping, subscriptions or in-app purchases. The card supports Apple Pay and Google Pay and can be used at physical merchants that accept Visa contactless payments.

Card overview
Phantom Cash is a separate funds account within the Phantom mobile wallet, with its balance held in the CASH US dollar stablecoin on the Solana network. Users can convert USDC, USDT, USDG, PYUSD, or other eligible Solana tokens into CASH and can also add funds through a US bank account, debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, or Direct Deposit. When a purchase occurs, Bridge deducts CASH from the Cash account and converts it into US dollars, with a Visa card issued by Lead Bank completing settlement with the merchant. Only a virtual card is currently available, and in-person payments require Apple Pay or Google Pay. Gambling, crypto purchases, gift-card top-ups, remittances, cash advances, and ATM transactions will be declined.

The UI is now Garbonzo beans. Literal trash. Everything is so much harder to find now. Then if you want to on-ramp crypto you have to jump through hoops.
I’ve moved millions around in phantom with no issue. The previous UI was not an issue, whatever genius had the bright idea to change the layout needs to be booted.
That’s the main gripe.
The second gripe I have is phantom cash / virtual debit card.
Transactions get blocked at POS readers all the time.
Can’t add money to Apple wallet hardly ever because the limit is too low.
I understand you guys rolled out phantom cash and it’s still fairly new. However. The fees are higher than Topper, and Coinbase. Plus if I say purchase $50.00 the fees will say like $1.25 but then Apple Pay has a $54.32 charge? Like the price jumps so you can’t even gauge how much you’re paying in fees realistically.

I signed up for Phantom using my Google/Apple account and everything was working normally. I never logged out, switched accounts, or changed anything.
Now Phantom is telling me I need to “Recover my Cash account.” Since this happened, I can’t buy, sell, swap, or transfer any crypto. I can see my funds in the wallet and I can receive crypto, but I can’t actually do anything with the assets I already have.
I’ve contacted support and submitted a ticket, but I’ve been waiting a week for the ticket to actually be addressed by someone. I’m not understanding why this happened or why I suddenly need to recover an account that I was already using normally.
Other than this issue, the app is fine. But what’s the point of having a trading wallet if I’m completely locked out of buying, selling, and transferring my crypto?
