The official name of SatoshiTango Card is Tarjeta Visa Satoshi Tango. It is a crypto prepaid card launched by Satoshi Tango for users in Argentina in 2022, with virtual and plastic physical cards. Users could originally set primary and backup debit accounts for each card and choose to pay with Argentine pesos or crypto assets held on the platform. Transactions were deducted from the designated balance and settled through the Visa network. The current website, app store descriptions and 2026 terms of service have removed the card application and management entry points, and the product does not currently accept applications from new users.

Card overview
SatoshiTango Card combined a custodial account balance with a prepaid card and did not provide a credit limit. While the product was available, users who completed Satoshi Tango identity verification could separately apply for a Tarjeta Virtual and Tarjeta Física. The two cards had different card numbers, could be used simultaneously, and allowed the priority payment asset to be configured separately. Before making a payment, users had to hold sufficient pesos or crypto assets in their accounts, with the system deducting balances in the configured order. The virtual card was primarily intended for online shopping and automatic payments. The physical card could also be used at physical Visa merchants and historically took 7 to 15 business days to deliver. Satoshi Tango continues to operate crypto trading, yield, and QR payment services, but the card application interface and card-specific terms have been removed from its current product system. Card issuance is therefore treated as suspended.

Notice: This card service permanently ceased operations on 2025/01/06, affecting Tarjeta Prepaga Virtual and Tarjeta Prepaga Física. The official terms stipulated that cardholders could use their cards only until that date, after which all prepaid card-related services were discontinued. A customer service channel was provided to address relevant issues during the discontinuation period.

Mala aplicación
Para empezar, se bloquean los movimientos por 48hs luego de realizar el 2FA. Pude realizar solamente 1 pago mediante QR en Brasil, y en 3 intentos posteriores con diferentes posnet me figuraba error y no me permitía pagar mediante QR. Hace 5 días que quiero transferir el dinero a otra cuenta, me figura error y no me permite retirar el dinero, ya solicité soporte técnico dos veces y no obtuve respuesta más que la del bot que no me soluciona el problema. Mala experiencia

Registré una cuenta y no la recargué. Al tiempo decidí cargarle cripto por una buena suma y me echaron inmediatamente de la cuenta. Al intentar entrar me dice que la cuenta está desactivada. El soporte no responde hace 3 días. Una experiencia terrible. No lo recomiendo.
