Card overview

The current Bitwala Card is the new-generation Visa Debit Card relaunched by Bitwala in 2023, not an unchanged revival of the former Nuri bank card discontinued in 2022. After creating an account through the Bitwala App and completing KYC, users can apply for a virtual or physical card and select EUR, BTC, ETH, or USDC as the default payment wallet. When crypto assets are used for payment, the system converts them into fiat during the transaction for settlement through Visa. The card is issued by Wallester AS, while the EUR account and custodial crypto asset services are provided by Lightspark Payments Europe AS. The former Nuri brand formally separated from Bitwala in 2025. Products currently offered through nuri.com belong to an independent business and should not be combined with the current Bitwala Card.

2nd BTC withdrawal of 500 eur stuck in pending state for nearly a full day

I had 1000, withdrew 500 eur and it arrived promtly, then tried another and its now stuck in pending. reached out to support but no resposne. no email to verify any details or provide docs, just stuck in pending. Ive used the same btc address too. now im seeing other peoples bad experiences and now feel like there is no hope. #ID418107

Wallet full of errors - Lost coins

The wallet is full of errors. Sending crypto is just impossible and the restoration of wallet is also impossible due to lack of features the wallet has. So if you want to acquire your own funds, you simple cannot do it. I've lost about 100+ EUR, it's not much but it is inconvenient and unprofessional. Tech support isn't helpful and isn't willing to fix the issues. This wallet is a shame for crypto community. Stay away at any cost. UPDATED REVIEW: Maybe I wasn’t clear enough, my balance in your wallet is more than enough to make transactions but due to your software code errors that pop up on screen each time I’m trying to send the coins to another address I can’t proceed - this is your code errors - your bug …and because you cannot fix your bugs, you advise me to restore the wallet. Guys first of all I work in this industry, if you have buggy code, you must fix it. You don’t advise customer to restore wallet by using key phrases you showed once a few years ago during registration (all wallets offer access to these keys any time and you don’t). So your code doesn’t work and key phrases cannot be found anywhere. Of course it is inconvenient because the whole experience is wrong and your are trying (nicely) to put the blame/responsibility to the customer. You must do much better if you want to be competitive.

Your Ethereum Vault is a non-custodial wallet, meaning that only you have access to your funds. When setting it up, you were informed about the importance of securely storing your Seed Phrase, as it’s the only way to restore access if you ever lose your device or need to reinstall the wallet. If you still have access to your Vault but can’t send crypto, please check if you have enough ETH to cover the network (gas) fees. Without this, transactions can’t be processed. If, however, you no longer have access to your Vault and don’t have your Seed Phrase, it won’t be possible to restore the wallet or send funds. Since Bitwala does not store or manage private keys, we are unable to recover access for security reasons. Nach Login Erstellung keine Funktion?

Nachdem man Login erstellt und verifiziert hat, geht es wieder von vorn los. Weitere Registrierung notwendig, mit Abfrage der genauen persönlichen Daten - vorher sieht man keine Handelskurse. Lohnt sich das überhaupt? Warum kann man nicht schon mal die Kurse und weitere Funktionalität sehen, oder gibt es da nix? Auf welchen externen Plattformen und warum nicht direkt bei Euch?

Nicht zu empfehlen!

Ich wollte Bitwala eine zweite Chance geben, aber die haben sie sich selbst verbaut. Ich hatte BTC im Wert von 5€ und wollte diese auf mein Wallet senden und hatte eine Gebühr von 2,96€, was viel zu viel ist, andere Börsen haben bessere Preise. Zuletzt wollte ich mein Geld (welches im Moment 1,94€ ist) auf mein richtiges Konto überweisen und dafür wollen sie eine Gebühr von 1,99€. Bei den Preisen lohnt es sich nicht, dort ein Konto zu haben. Selbst ein Stern ist einer zu viel.
