Card overview

Cardano Card currently operates using Wirex's account, asset custody, and payment infrastructure. Users can hold and exchange supported digital assets and fiat currencies in the Wirex app, with payment settlement completed when the card is used. The first-stage product uses a custodial architecture. The website currently divides the service into four tiers: Standard, Premium, Elite, and invitation-only Founders. Virtual and physical cards are both part of the active product range. Cardano Card supports more than 685 digital assets and provides features including Cryptoback™, ADA-backed borrowing, and Wirex Travel. Self-custody and further on-chain yield features are part of the future product roadmap. After June 30, 2026, Wirex began moving users in the European Economic Area and Australia from the Classic Wirex App to Wirex One. Affected users must complete the upgrade to continue using the relevant crypto asset and card features.

Verified account closed — $300 inaccessible for over 2 years

I completed the identity verification process and deposited approximately $300 worth of TRX into my Wirex account. My account was later closed/restricted, and since then I have been unable to access my account or withdraw my funds. This situation has now continued for more than two years. I contacted support seeking an explanation and, most importantly, a way to recover or withdraw my money, but I still have no satisfactory resolution. I simply want access to my funds or for Wirex to return them to me. More than two years without a proper solution is unacceptable. I will update this review if Wirex resolves the issue and returns my funds.

Pour être juste, obtenir des bénéfices sur cette plateforme n’a pas été un problème. Au début, tout semblait fonctionner correctement. La plateforme paraissait professionnelle, facile à utiliser et plutôt convaincante. Voir mon solde augmenter m’a donné confiance et m’a fait croire que j’avais pris une bonne décision d’investissement. Cependant, les choses ne se sont pas déroulées comme je l’espérais après mon investissement. Le principal problème a commencé lorsque j’ai essayé de retirer mes fonds. Malgré les bénéfices affichés sur mon compte, aucun retrait réussi ne m’a été autorisé. Chaque tentative échouait, était retardée ou n’était tout simplement pas traitée. Aucune explication claire ne m’était donnée, ce qui a rapidement transformé mon enthousiasme initial en frustration. J’ai essayé de contacter le service client à plusieurs reprises, dans l’espoir de résoudre le problème, mais les réponses que je recevais n’étaient pas utiles. La plupart du temps, elles étaient vagues ou tardives, et je n’ai jamais obtenu d’explication claire concernant la raison pour laquelle mes retraits n’étaient pas traités. Ce manque de transparence a encore aggravé la situation. Avec le temps, cette expérience est devenue émotionnellement épuisante. Finalement, j’ai pu récupérer mes fonds et tout s’est bien terminé. Le soulagement que j’ai ressenti après une expérience aussi stressante est difficile à décrire. Dans l’ensemble, mon expérience avec cette plateforme a été très négative. Même si réaliser des bénéfices peut sembler facile, le véritable problème réside dans l’impossibilité de retirer ses fonds sans subir du stress et des complications inutiles. Je recommande vivement à toute personne qui envisage d’utiliser cette plateforme de faire preuve d’une grande prudence. Ne vous concentrez pas uniquement sur les bénéfices — il est essentiel d’évaluer la fiabilité du processus de retrait, car c’est cela qui compte réellement. Pour moi, cette expérience a été une leçon difficile. Même si j’ai finalement récupéré mon argent, le stress, la frustration et l’incertitude que j’ai vécus n’en valaient absolument pas la peine.

Absolutely awful customer service, constantly closing help chats, issues with my Solana getting stuck and not being sent. Constant errors not being able to withdraw to my bank due to estimating issues apparently with Wirex one. Just no end of issues and zero help. Would not recommend

Money missing, Fee's voided, sucks you up for exchange rates

First of all since Wirex One, randomly some charges come through as Euros - any purchases done at Costco fuel or in store they always auto convert to Euro from £ although I'm charged in £ and take the fee. You buy a product out of Amazon for £, return it to amazon and Wirex takes your refund and converts it Euro's again, if you want to convert it to £ they take the fee again. Second Migration from Legacy App, I have paid Annual fee of £306 for a elite membership highest paid tier possible and had to freeze over £3000 worth of Wirex tokens to gain benifits that I had. Wirex one just wiped the whole logic, Legacy app gave me 8% APR on wirex tokens frozen/locked by the contract as they had to be frozen for 180days so I could get cashback. Wirex One just decided to change it to 5% - that is absolute joke. Also I was told that in Wirex one my tier will be boosted for 3 months since day of migration, but wait, what happens to remainder of membership that I have purchased? By the time 3 months run out I will still have 7 months of the £306 I have paid for? Support is clueless told me to get back to them when 3months will run out. Also it is impossible to get bank statement. Yesterday transferred £1700, £50, £50 to wirex one from Starling. Money is nowhere to be seen. Spoke with Starling and had a confirmation from them that money have been sent and accepted by the bank and everything is as good as it gets, but Wirex support is clueless. CASE: 6379106 There is just too many questions and issues with this platform to trust it.
