Coinramp Card

Updated: Sep 18, 2026

Coinramp Card was a virtual payment card product that allowed users to deposit crypto assets and spend via the banking card network. Users could top up their accounts using various digital assets—such as BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC—which Coinramp converted into an available card balance; actual card transactions utilized fiat currency within the banking system rather than deducting assets directly from the user's external on-chain wallet for each transaction.

Card overview

Coinramp’s original product operated on a "crypto asset deposit → platform conversion → card balance → bank card payment" model, offering virtual cards and planning for physical ones. Coinramp was not a bank itself; cards were issued by partner banks or card issuers. Its previous website explicitly stated that the accounts did not directly hold cryptocurrency—meaning crypto assets served primarily as a means for funding and conversion rather than as a persistent asset balance within the card account. A recent industry review (as of 2026) has classified Coinramp as a product that has shut down or ceased its crypto card operations; while some legacy pages remain indexed, the main website and card issuance portal are no longer functional, and no valid new card program resulting from a migration has been identified.

They will process your first payment to prove that the service works BUT when you deposit the second payment with a BIGGER AMOUNT they will not add it to your BALANCE. I emailed them many times but they keep ignoring which the same thing they do to other people. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST
