Card overview

Exodus Spend Card uses a self-custody direct-payment structure. After users authorise the card to access specified assets up to a set amount, funds remain in their personal Exodus wallet until an actual purchase occurs, when they are sent and converted into the fiat currency accepted by the merchant. Users can set automatic authorisation or a fixed spending limit and adjust the deduction priority for USDC, USDT, and XO Cash. Each payment and authorisation change requires a small amount of SOL for Solana network fees. The product is available only as a virtual card. Online purchases use the card number, expiry date, and security code, while in-person purchases depend on Apple Pay or Google Pay. Exodus Spend Card and the new Exodus Card in Exodus Pay are separate products; some users receive prompts to migrate to Exodus Pay.
