Fold Bitcoin Credit Card™ is a Bitcoin cashback credit card launched by Fold for individual users in the United States. Celtic Bank provides the credit facility and issues the card, Stripe supplies the core issuance and processing technology, and the card uses the Visa network. Users make everyday purchases with a US dollar credit facility and receive a base reward of 1.5% BTC on eligible transactions. Rewards can be increased through Fold's recurring purchases, Direct-to-Bitcoin and repayment of card bills with BTC. The product currently remains available through invitations and a phased application process.

Card overview
Fold Bitcoin Credit Card™ is an unsecured revolving credit card, not a credit product that requires pre-funded balances or crypto asset collateral. Celtic Bank determines approval, the credit limit, and the interest rate based on the applicant's credit history, income, debt, and other underwriting factors. Once approved, users immediately receive a digital card that can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, with the physical card mailed later. Users can view purchases, statements, available credit, and BTC rewards in Fold App and repay their bills through a Fold cash account, an external bank account, or BTC held in Fold. When BTC is used for repayment, Fold first sells it for USD. Base rewards have no accrual cap, while additional tier rewards primarily apply to the first USD 2,000 of eligible spending each month.
