Card overview

After completing identity verification in the Kem app, users can activate a virtual card and order a physical card in regions where accounts are available. The card is issued by Third National under a Visa licence, while Rain provides the card program and stablecoin payment infrastructure. When a purchase is made, the issuer first pays the merchant and then settles the transaction based on the user's account funds, collateral, and dynamic limit. The legal structure is therefore a credit-limit card with a 0% annual percentage rate on purchases, although the website describes it to users as a stablecoin debit card. The card can be added to Apple Wallet and supports e-commerce, in-app payments, and the Visa in-store acceptance network.
