Ledger Card Program is a gateway to third-party crypto payment cards within Ledger Wallet and does not involve Ledger issuing cards itself. The products currently officially listed are CL Card provided by Baanx and Spend Card provided by Mercuryo. Users can transfer digital assets from their Ledger wallet to a card account, convert them into a fiat balance or exchange them when spending, and then use virtual cards, physical cards, mobile wallets and ATMs. The card network, regions, fees, supported assets and reward rules for each card are determined separately by the actual service provider.

The CL Card is provided by the Baanx ecosystem, with European accounts operated by UAB Monavate, UK accounts by Monavate Ltd, and US cards issued in partnership with Cross River Bank. The Spend Card is provided by Mercuryo, which offers the product interface and crypto asset conversion services; the Mastercard and associated payment accounts are issued and maintained by Paynetics AD, a licensed electronic money institution in Bulgaria.

Card overview

Ledger Card Program connects Ledger Wallet's asset-transfer functionality with third-party card services. Users can select their country and service provider on the Card page in the app, but applications, KYC, card accounts, and fund handling are managed by Baanx or Mercuryo. Ownership of a Ledger hardware device is not required. CL Card is a Visa crypto debit card available as a virtual or physical card. Users first transfer assets to a Crypto Life account, where they are converted into fiat currency when spent. BTC or ETH can also be used as collateral for a spending limit. Spend Card is a virtual Mastercard for residents of the European Economic Area. During top-up, assets such as BTC, ETH, and USDC are converted into a euro balance, which can then be used online or for in-person payments through Apple Pay or Google Pay. Once funds are transferred into the card account or converted into fiat currency, they are no longer held under self-custody in Ledger Wallet.

2. United Kingdom：Can apply，Can use，The United Kingdom is an explicitly supported CL Card market, with the UK card program operated through Baanx and Monavate.

3. Canada：Can apply，Can use，Canada is explicitly included in the current CL Card issuance coverage, so eligible Canadian residents can obtain the card after completing the provider’s verification process.
