Card overview

Users register through Mercuryo Widget or a partner wallet interface such as Ledger Live. After completing full KYC, mobile number verification, and a compliance questionnaire, they can activate a EUR-denominated virtual card. To add funds, users connect a self-custodial wallet or send crypto assets to a specified address. Mercuryo sells the crypto assets, converts the proceeds into fiat, and transfers the EUR into a payment account maintained by the issuer. The card balance is separate from the original crypto wallet and is not deducted directly from the blockchain in real time when a purchase is made. Spend supports online 3D Secure, recurring payments, and in-person payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay. In principle, each user may hold only one active Spend Card.

FORMAL NOTICE be aware they scum

FORMAL NOTICE — €50 BOOST POINTS REDEMPTION I am formally demanding the immediate resolution of my outstanding Boost Points redemption. Mercuryo publicly states that 5,000 Boost Points are redeemable for €50 worth of crypto. I accumulated the required 5,000 points in reliance on that representation. However, after reaching the redemption threshold, I was informed that an unspecified “investigation” is required and that the redemption would be delayed. I require a clear written explanation of: The precise contractual or legal basis for delaying my redemption. The specific reason my account or points are allegedly subject to investigation. The identity of the legal entity responsible for my transaction and Boost Points programme. The applicable Terms and Conditions relied upon to suspend or delay redemption. The exact date by which my €50 redemption will be completed. Whether you intend to cancel, restrict, expire, or otherwise withhold my accumulated points. A generic statement that an “investigation is required” is not an adequate resolution. Please treat this message as a formal complaint and regulatory notice. I am preserving all relevant evidence, including screenshots of the advertised 5,000-points/€50 redemption terms, my points balance and history, transaction records, and the complete correspondence with your support team. If this matter is not resolved promptly and transparently, I will escalate it to the appropriate financial and consumer-protection authorities in the jurisdictions of the entities involved, and where applicable, seek assistance from relevant law-enforcement and cross-border financial-crime authorities. I will also provide the complete documentary record to those authorities, including the representations made by Mercuryo regarding the value and redemption of Boost Points and the subsequent refusal or delay after the required threshold was reached.
