Card overview

MiniPay is a self-custody US-dollar stablecoin wallet built on the Celo network, with users controlling their own wallet keys and assets. MiniPay Card connects the wallet balance to the Visa payment network. When spending, merchants receive a standard Visa card transaction and do not need to handle digital assets. The card is currently available only in digital form and can be added directly to Apple Pay or Google Pay for use with online merchants and contactless physical merchants that accept Visa. The card directly supports USDT, USDC and US-dollar stablecoins such as mUSD. Its cross-chain funding feature also allows users to transfer other assets from networks such as Ethereum, Solana and Polygon, which are automatically converted into spendable stablecoins. The product is currently still being rolled out in batches; users eligible in their region will see an application entry on the Card page in the MiniPay App.
