Card overview

Oobit Crypto Card does not require all assets to be transferred into a separate card balance in advance. After completing verification, users can connect an external self-custodial wallet through DePay or transfer supported assets into Oobit's built-in wallet. Assets remain in the original wallet until a payment is initiated. Only after the transaction is authorised is the purchase amount converted into fiat and settled through the Visa network. The card is available only as a virtual card. Users can enter the card number for online payments or add it to Apple Pay or Google Wallet for in-person contactless payments. The product does not provide a revolving credit limit or instalment borrowing, and actual spending is funded by the user's crypto assets. However, the card may be identified as a credit card within the payment network to support hotels, car rentals, and merchants that accept only credit cards.
