The Payy Card is a self-custodial stablecoin Visa card introduced by Payy. Users can directly spend USDC held in Payy Wallet on online or in-store purchases. Card transactions are settled privately through Payy Network, so on-chain addresses, wallet balances, and transfer activity are not publicly linked to everyday card transactions. After identity verification, users can instantly obtain a virtual card and add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay. A contactless light-up physical card can also be unlocked after meeting the points requirement.

Card overview

Payy Card integrates a self-custody wallet, stablecoin exchange, a privacy blockchain, and Visa payments in one app. User funds remain at all times in the user-controlled Payy Wallet. The card's spending limit is restricted to the wallet's available USDC balance and does not provide revolving credit beyond that balance. Users can add funds from bank accounts, crypto wallets, or exchanges. Other supported assets are converted into USDC during the funding process and then used for card settlement. After identity verification, the virtual card can be activated immediately for online shopping, subscriptions, and mobile wallet payments. The Light up card is a physical card that supports contactless transactions only, and its card logo lights up when it is used. Payy charges no application fee, monthly fee, ordinary transaction fee, or top-up fee. Non-USD transactions are converted using the Visa exchange rate plus a 1% bank fee. Contactless ATM withdrawals are currently available only to private beta users.
