Rain provides infrastructure for card issuance, transaction authorisation, clearing and settlement, smart contracts, stablecoin wallets, fiat deposits, stablecoin withdrawals, KYC, anti-money laundering, fraud monitoring, and dispute handling. Partner platforms can have Rain manage fund flows or maintain their own account ledger and transaction-authorisation logic. Cards can be funded by stablecoins, fiat currency, or credit backed by digital assets, and the platform supports consumer and business programmes, virtual cards, physical cards, and disposable virtual cards. Rain is a Visa and Mastercard principal member and uses stablecoins such as USDC for card-network settlement, while cardholders continue to pay merchants worldwide in the same way as with an ordinary bank card.

I’m having a frustrating experience with Rain! My account is restricted, and I can’t send or receive cryptocurrencies because they require identity verification again. I provided a valid passport and driver’s license, both of which are still valid, but the platform insists on a national ID, which I haven’t been able to renew yet. This policy is too rigid and inconvenient for users. I urge Rain to resolve my issue quickly, or I may have to consider switching to a more flexible platform!
