Card overview

After completing tiered identity verification, users can deposit fiat currency or crypto assets, trade through Simple Buy/Sell, spot trading, margin, perpetual contracts, and OTC services, and withdraw assets to their own bank account or external wallet. VALR Pay supports free transfers between accounts using a mobile number, email address, or QR code. In South Africa, it also supports online and in-person QR-code payments through the Zapper, Scan to Pay, Peach Payments, Ozow, and MoneyBadger networks. The service does not generate a bank card number and does not support chip-based card payments, card-based contactless payments, or ATM withdrawals.
