Satpay Card

Updated: Aug 18, 2026

SatPay Card is a crypto payment card designed around the Bitcoin Standard and developed jointly by the Core ecosystem and Mobilum. Rather than selling BTC directly for spending, the core concept is to generate returns from BTC, use yield-bearing BTC assets as collateral to borrow stablecoins, and then spend those stablecoins through a debit card. Plans include virtual and physical cards and the integration of BTC yield, collateralised borrowing, stablecoin spending and card management in one app. The product remains in Early Access.

Card overview

SatPay is a Bitcoin-first neobank built on the Core network, aiming to give long-term BTC holders access to spending liquidity without selling their Bitcoin. Users can put BTC to work in Core ecosystem yield strategies, then borrow stablecoins against BTC or yield-bearing assets as collateral, and transfer the borrowed stablecoins to the SatPay Card for spending. Core officially describes this model as "BTC/LST → borrow stablecoins → fund the debit card," and the BTC yield can also be used to gradually offset borrowing costs. Card financial infrastructure is provided by Mobilum, whose white-label solution supports virtual and physical Mastercard, online and offline payments, and mobile wallets. As of August 2026, the official website still shows Early Access, and general user card issuance is not yet fully open.
