Slush Card is a card product under development within the Slush self-custody wallet ecosystem. Its core model is not to sell on-chain assets first and then fund a conventional prepaid card, but to convert the Slush wallet balance into spending capacity and repay the amount from the wallet balance after purchases are made. The product is being advanced by Mysten Labs and developed in partnership with RedotPay, with the goal of providing card payment capabilities while allowing users to retain their on-chain asset holdings.

Card overview
The card is built on Slush’s non-custodial Sui wallet infrastructure. Slush itself does not custody users’ wallet assets, and users continue to control their on-chain accounts and private keys. The card page currently presents the product as a “spend first, repay later from your Slush balance” model, rather than requiring users to transfer crypto assets into a separate card balance in advance. The company also explicitly refers to loan repayment, making the structure closer to a card product in which wallet assets support a spending limit. Both virtual and physical cards are planned, but the product is still in development and early-access stages, and the specific rules of the formal card program may still change.

Slush has been a great addition to my money apps. It’s incredibly easy to use with an intuitive interface. The strategies offer several options to generate a return on assets that would otherwise just be sitting idle. Everything works exactly as expected and the social login makes it easy to manage wallets. I highly recommend it.

There’s no address book. When you paste the address to send assets, you have to hit the return
button in order to exit the section to get to the send button instead of being able to just scroll down and tap send. I don’t like the ads in the app or suggestions of giveaways/scratch games,etc. Phantom wallet is much better.
