Solayer Pay Card is an on-chain stablecoin Visa payment card launched by Solayer and formerly known as Emerald Card. Users primarily use USDC for spending and can allocate funds to sUSD within the Solayer ecosystem to earn returns. Virtual and physical cards are currently available for online shopping, physical merchants, Apple Pay, Google Pay and ATM withdrawals with the physical card. Purchases can also earn Emerald Points and partner project benefits.

Solayer Pay is operated by Solayer Labs, Inc. Solayer is responsible for the product interface, onchain accounts, stablecoin fund management, card application, and rewards system. Both the current US Cardholder Agreement and international Card Terms list Third National as the card program issuer, and cards are issued under a Visa license. Identity verification is provided by Sumsub. Solayer's responsibilities are separate from those of the issuer; Third National is responsible for card accounts and the corresponding payment credit relationship.

Card overview

Solayer Pay combines a stablecoin account, on-chain settlement, Visa cards, and yield features. After completing KYC and activating an account, users can deposit USDC into Solayer Pay and spend through a virtual or physical card. Solayer states that payment transactions are processed through the on-chain infrastructure of Solayer Chain. In legal documents, the US card uses a credit card structure with no fixed credit limit, while the international card follows the Solayer Spend Card model: the issuer pays the merchant first, with settlement then covered by the Solayer account and collateral. The physical card officially launched in May 2026 and supports PIN setup, contactless payments, and ATM withdrawals. Virtual and physical cards share the Solayer Pay balance.
