Card overview

ZAR’s primary focus is not simply to offer a standalone crypto card, but to build a wallet network centered on U.S. dollar savings, payments, transfers, and local cash conversion, mainly serving markets such as Argentina, Pakistan, and Kenya where access to traditional U.S. dollar accounts is more difficult. Users can obtain dollar-denominated assets through local merchants or other channels, hold them in ZAR, transfer them, or withdraw funds to local bank accounts, and then use virtual or physical Visa cards for spending. Assets in the wallet layer remain under the user’s control, while card and bank account connectivity are provided as separate third-party financial services. Its structure is therefore a combination of “self-custody dollar wallet + local on/off-ramp network + third-party card payments,” rather than a conventional custodial crypto prepaid card.

Complete Scam! Avoid Zar Wallet at All Costs! Worst wallet app ever! They are practically stealing money through ridiculously high hidden fees. I sent small amounts ($1.01 and $1.10 USDC), and they deducted around $0.22 - $0.25 on EACH transaction! That’s more than 22% cut in fees for tiny transfers—totally unacceptable! On top of that, if you try to use it for PayPal verification, you CANNOT even see the small deposit amounts/codes properly, making it completely useless for PayPal.
