Paycent Card

Updated: Jul 28, 2026

The Paycent Card was a crypto prepaid debit card formerly operated within Singapore's Texcent group. Crypto assets held in the Paycent custodial wallet were converted into US dollar, euro, or pound sterling card balances for online shopping, in-store merchant purchases, and ATM withdrawals. The product previously offered three tiers—Ruby, Sapphire, and Solitaire—using UnionPay or Mastercard networks, with both virtual and plastic physical cards available. The Paycent app has been removed, its former official website domain is for sale, and cards can no longer be applied for or used.

Official and company information

Issuer identity and company credentials

The Paycent brand is developed by the Singapore-registered TEXCENT ASIA PTE. LTD. system, and the card and wallet app have also been released under the name Vista Infotech Ltd. TEXCENT SINGAPORE PAYMENT OPERATORS PTE. LTD. was previously engaged in remittance-related business, but that entity has been dissolved. Public information does not clearly list the actual issuing bank, custodian bank, or full cardholder agreements for Ruby, Sapphire, and Solitaire; it can only be confirmed that they have cooperated with Mastercard, China UnionPay, and UnionPay International card programs.

Card overview

Paycent Card used a pre-funded model. Users had to complete identity verification in the Paycent app, deposit supported crypto assets into a custodial wallet, convert them into a fiat balance, and then load the card. Card transactions did not deduct assets directly from the blockchain wallet and were instead settled using the converted card balance. Historical products supported virtual cards, physical cards, online payments, in-store payments, and ATM withdrawals and claimed acceptance at a large number of UnionPay or Mastercard merchants worldwide. The main differences between Ruby, Sapphire, and Solitaire were the card network, daily spending limit, and ATM limit. Paycent received few substantive updates in its later years. The Android app was last updated in 2020 and was removed from Google Play on January 16, 2023. paycent.com now redirects to a domain marketplace and is no longer an operational card website.

Paycent Google Play review - 5 star

This app made splitting trip expenses incredibly easy. We used it after our group trip to keep track of who paid for what, and it automatically calculated how much each person owed. It saved us a lot of time and avoided any confusion or awkward conversations about money. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling with friends or family.
