wavecard® is a Bitcoin-only Visa debit card operated by Lithuania's Wave Space Exploration UAB. It can directly use BTC held in a wave.space account or connect to the user's own Lightning wallet through Nostr Wallet Connect, automatically selling the required amount of Bitcoin when the card is used to complete settlement in fiat currency. Card overview

wavecard combines a Bitcoin wallet, personal EUR vIBAN, the Lightning Network, and Visa payments. After completing identity verification, users can acquire BTC through on-chain transfers, Lightning, or purchases via EUR vIBAN. They can also connect their own Lightning wallet to the card through NWC, allowing BTC to remain in the user's wallet until a purchase occurs. When payment is made, the system sells only the amount of BTC required to cover the transaction. The Virtual wavecard can currently be created instantly, while the Physical wavecard officially became available to order in January 2026. Both cards support Visa merchants worldwide and a 0% fiat FX markup, while the physical card adds conventional POS and ATM capabilities. The underlying card service is provided by Lightspark, and the actual Visa card is issued by Wallester AS.

Its seem is scam

Beware of this website, it's a scam. After I created and registered the account, when I sent the money, they blocked my account and stole the money without giving any explanation.

Wonderful

Wonderful, I have connected my wallet via NWC and works very well. I spend some sats in a shop with contactless. The only problem remain is philosophical... Get used as an holder to live more on bitcoin and accept to spend and replace, and that's I will try to do 🙂

Tenho associado a Google wallet e usado praticamente diariamente com contactless visa em Portugal sem um único problema. Helps you to just get it done

I loved how simple and straightforward the app was. No unnecessary long texts, B-roll videos in the background on basic filler images. You open the app, do the shit you need and get out. In terms of the features provided, I mostly liked these two things: 1. Bank transfers were instant, in my own name, and the bank had no issues accepting it. It's as if I was using a debit card from the bank. 2. Wavecard sells BTC at the last second before my transaction and adds only a 1% fee.

Really a great product

Really a great product. Living on your bitcoin has never been so easy. Fast, simple and cheap. Can't wait for the physical card though. Payment limits for online or contactless purchases are easily managed.
