Card overview

Bitpanda Card connects directly to the user's Bitpanda investment account and does not require funds to be loaded into a separate card balance in advance. Users can set a primary payment asset and a fallback payment asset in the app. At the time of payment, the system automatically sells the selected asset and converts it into euros, then completes the Visa transaction from the EUR balance. If the primary asset is insufficient, the fallback asset can cover the entire payment, but balances from two wallets are not combined. The card is available as a physical card and up to three virtual cards. Users can view transactions, freeze cards, manage payment assets, and receive instant notifications in the app. Paying with cryptocurrency triggers an asset sale and the corresponding transaction fees and may also constitute a local taxable event. Refunds are always returned to the Bitpanda EUR wallet and are not restored to the original payment asset.
