Paxful Debit Card was a crypto asset Visa debit card launched by Paxful in partnership with Ternio's BlockCard. It previously offered US users virtual cards, physical cards and US dollar account services. Users could convert digital assets into US dollars for online shopping, purchases at physical merchants and ATM withdrawals. The card programme has ceased operations. Paxful has also closed all regular services, including trading, top-ups, sending and receiving, and its website is now used only by existing users to withdraw their remaining digital assets.

Paxful was founded in 2015 by Ray Youssef and Artur Schaback and was once one of the world's most well-known borderless peer-to-peer (P2P) cryptocurrency trading networks, with over 14 million users. The platform allowed users to freely buy and sell Bitcoin and stablecoins through more than 400 localized payment methods, including bank transfers, cash, e-wallets, and gift cards. However, due to long-standing anti-money laundering compliance deficiencies and serious legacy issues under previous management, the company faced intensive joint enforcement by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and FinCEN, and ultimately announced in late 2025 the gradual shutdown of all its global operations and liquidation.

Card overview
Paxful Debit Card launched in 2020 through Ternio's BlockCard white-label card-issuing platform and was initially available only to US users. Users could convert digital assets in their Paxful account into a US dollar card balance, receive a virtual Visa card or apply for a physical card, and use it at Visa merchants and ATMs. The underlying BlockCard was a reloadable general-purpose prepaid card programme formerly issued by Metropolitan Commercial Bank and managed by CashPass Network.
The card no longer provides application, top-up, or payment services. Paxful announced the end of its operations in October 2025 and stopped trading, deposits, transfers, and standard wallet functionality from November 1, 2025. The current withdraw.paxful.com site is not a card application website. It is a balance-withdrawal portal for the closure period and only allows eligible existing accounts to transfer remaining digital assets to an external wallet.

Notice: Paxful ceased trading, top-ups, sending, receiving, and regular card-related services on 2025/11/01, and currently only retains digital asset withdrawal functionality. Existing users should transfer all balances to correct external wallets as soon as possible and must not continue sending funds to old Paxful top-up addresses; those addresses are no longer monitored, and mistakenly transferred assets cannot be recovered. Restricted accounts that fail to withdraw balances within 30 days of receiving notice will be charged the higher of 2% of the balance or $2 per month.

That company is super legit company. They sent the notification on my app to withdraw your funds because they winding down the operations. I submitted and within 2-5 minutes I got my funds back in another wallet.
This company also greatly helped me previously when I forgot the backup keys and upon verifying through picture and ID verification they reset my account I got access to my funds.
Not happy to see you closing your operations. God bless you guys.

I had a terrible experience with Paxful. The platform is full of scammers, and unfortunately, the moderators seem to protect them instead of helping honest users. I opened a dispute and provided every piece of evidence they requested. For three months, they kept asking me to wait, and then suddenly they terminated my account without any explanation.
I lost both my time and my trust in Paxful. Be very careful if you decide to use this platform — their support system is unreliable, and you might end up losing your money with no help at all.

Paxful has frozen accounts and effectively stolen users’ funds. They announced a shutdown but blocked withdrawals, closed the app and the website, leaving customers with no way to recover their money.
This is highly unprofessional and shows that the platform was never safe or transparent.
I strongly advise everyone not to trust this company and to use more reliable and regulated alternatives.
