Monolith Card
Use case: Monolith Card was an Ethereum-based crypto debit card that has ceased operations, consisting of a non-custodial smart contract wallet and a Visa physical card. Users could self-custody ETH and ERC-20 assets, exchange supported tokens for GBP or EUR before spending, and top up the card account for online shopping, in-store payments, and ATM withdrawals. The service previously covered the UK, the European Economic Area, and some associated European regions; all cards were deactivated on October 8, 2024, and it is currently not possible to apply, top up, or spend.
